You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to contribute.
You must have 90 days of employment with Caspers Company
Contributions: You may save from 1% to 80% of your pay, tax deferred to your account.
Company Match: The Company match is based on the profits of the company and is announced annually. This year, the match was 50% up to 7% of total compensation.
Vesting: Employees earn full right to their accumulated Company match dollars only when they maintain Company service. The Company Match is vested as follows:
1 year in the Plan - 0% vested
2 years - 20% vested
3 years - 40% vested
4 years - 60% vested
5 years - 100% vested
Account Distributions: Should you leave the Company, you are always entitled to the entire amount of money you have put in, plus (or minus) interest return. The amount of an employee's Company match is based on the employee's vesting. Tax consequences may apply.
Account Statements:Account statements are mailed to participants quarterly by Empower. Current account balances are available on-line at the Empower website or may be obtained via their 24 hour toll free number.
Joining the Plan:When you are eligible to participate, you can enroll on line.
You can join the plan online if you are currently eligible.
1. Go to www.empowermyretirement.com 2. Click on the “Register” Button (below the username and password fields) 3. Choose the I do not have a PIN tab. 4. Follow the prompts to create your username and password. After you register, you’ll be able to make your paycheck contribution, investment and beneficiary elections
